The cliffs here are really that orange. It's such a nice contrast with the blue ocean. Anytime there are two big forms of contrasting colors it makes me happy! It's also nice to be under the shade of the cypress tree on the hottest day of the year. Jumping in the ocean every hour helps too.

In a eucalyptus grove inside earshot of the pounding Pacific surf, the monarchs at Pismo seaside State Park flutter like golden leaves set aloft with the aid of a soft wind. However a closer look reveals something magical: 1000's of the orange and black butterflies clustering collectively in the tall timber for warmth and safety.
