I have painted this view a half dozen times and experienced the sunset here many many more times then that. The angle the cliffs face to the sunset this time of year is ideal for getting this golden glow. I was also blessed to have a nice big sandy beach at low tide, leaving plenty of opportunity to capture the reflection.
