El Capitan Cove, El Capitan State Park

"El Capitan Cove"

I really went for it with this big canvas in the beautiful weather we have been having. If given a choice, I will always choose to be painting as close to raw nature as possible. This is one of those places that is super close to SB and but still super raw. There where a ton of dolphins, a few sea lions, hawks and as I was leaving I saw the cutest little bobcat. I have never seen one so close and they are really spectacular. The one I saw was about twice the size of our house cats, had a short stubby tail and was covered in leopard spots. Altogether a perfect day.
