I made this yesterday as the sun was coming out from behind the clouds for just a brief time. When I set up, it was totally clouded over here. I was hoping that the sun would peek through the clouds as it lowered towards the horizon. I got lucky and was ready to do some of those vivid colors right as it did. As you might have noticed I am getting more and more into these reflections. This type of scene is difficult because it is so busy and constantly changing. It makes me realize why Monet was so fascinated by his lily pads. I wonder what my lily pads will be as I develop as an artist...
