"Gibraltar Mountainscape", Gibraltar Road, Santa Barbara, California

"Gibraltar Mountainscape", Gibraltar Road, Santa Barbara. 36x24 inches, oil on canvas, $1400
(In an opera voice) To paint something new, to paint something new!!! This is a view from Gibraltar Road 3/4 if the way up the mountain. Instead of painting towards the coast I chose a view looking into the mountain. Something I've never done before. Can't wait to do more different things.

"Fess Parker Garden Party", Los Olivos, California

"Fess Parker Garden Party"
12 x 36 inches, oil on canvas, sold

I was lucky enough to have my art used for a Fess Parker Wine Label. Above is the painting I made at the vineyard this last Saturday for the release of the wine. The wine is called Marsella's and is a white blend. Here are some details taken from their notes:

For the Parker family, time spent on the water was an important part of growing up in Santa Barbara.  Fess and Marcella were long time boating enthusiast and often packed up their children, Eli & Ashley, for weekend trips to the Channel Islands, or even weeklong trips down the Southern California coast.
Named after Fess' wife, it is this part of the Parker family's history that we celebrate with "Marcella's".

"Santa Ynez River Colors", Paradise Road, Santa Barbara, California

"Santa Ynez River Colors", 24 x 30 inches, oil on canvas, $1200

Paradise Road is a true treasure. You drive through views like this to amazing swimming holes and natural beauty. I went on Thursday and I had the place to myself. And thus concludes my work last week. Not too shabby considering I played 27 holes one day too...
