Here is the the 2nd one of the Santa Barbara Mission in a few weeks. This time I painted it from the shady parking lot.
This painting is about the blue buttress and the orange shaded fountain wall. Its also about the rhythm of the trees with the architecture. Looking at it that way I just realized I left out the smaller palms that grow just in front of those three arches to the left of the fountain. Shoot, I guess I'll have to go back and do this one again. Bummer.
