Since I began drawing I have always been attracted to nice curves. Throughout my undergraduate work at UCSB I would draw them over and over again, trying to make them more elegant and more stylish. I realize now that all of these same curves are right here in nature. All the abstract practice of drawing nice shapes has totally shaped how I draw things now.
