I made this while my little girl slept in the car seat. She just had a huge lunch with her great grandma so I knew she would be sleeping for at least an hour and a half. I wanted to paint something that you wouldn't see in Santa Barbara. I stopped at a spot just before this with a view of the Seattle sky line - all those details on the buildings and I decided it was a subject for another day. I drove around the point and I had this view. Not too many snow capped peaks in SB...
