Manzana Creek, San Rafael Wilderness, California

"Manzana Creek"
11 x 14 inches
acrylic on linen panel
$280

This was the other painting I did on our recent backpacking trip. The Manzana is a wild and beautiful little creek on our back country. There are a few swimming holes along the hike but I couldn't stop until I was almost back to the car. Its hard to stop and relax when you know that you still have to hike out. I think I need atleast two nights out there if I want to be able to get into the grove of painting and camping. And bring a mule that carries in all my grub and painting gear. Now that sounds like I could get some serious work done.
