We hiked from the Bear Camps up along the ridge towards Madulce Peak and the Dick Smith Wilderness. One of the most beautiful walks I can remember. Madulce Camp is on the North side of the Peak just at the edge of the forest. There are two giant pine trees standing just at the edge like a gate into some enchanted land. This is the view just between them at sunset, looking towards the forest we had just come through.
