I have been playing around with outlining things. It definitely is a good tool to have in the bag. Especially for foreground things sticking up in front of a busy background.

Good for the artist to branch out into new directions, building on the old. See outlining in: Matisse, Beckmann, K. Gleason, Van Gogh, Kandinsky ...

I will be set up the easels at the very East end of the park, on the bluff overlooking the Santa Barbara Harbor. I will also do a quick demo from 3:15 - 3:45.
