Its really fun to be out painting when everyone else is out clubbing. It made me realize this is a great subject for practicing to paint people. From the people lining up to get in, to the bouncers to the people coming outside to smoke. Also, its not a bad place to take a break and get a cold one.

    I stumbled upon your blog from Jim Serrett's blog and was delighted to see all of these paintings of places I recognize!!!
    They are wonderful.

    My daughter and her husband live in Santa Barbara. They and I are all UCSB grads. perhaps I'll run in to you at one of your shows one of these days.
