I made this painting while I was still working downtown in an office. I shipped off to a gallery in Los Angeles right away after. I never took a picture of it or even looked at it since the day I made it. I finally got it back the other day and it brought me back to that time. I remember the feeling of painting for 45 min and then having to get back to work within my lunch hour. I was late a lot. They couldn't stop giving me a hard time about it but I couldn't of cared less. It was that lunch hour that I was living for, not those other 8 hours I spent at the office.
