Santa Ynez River, Santa Barbara

I came back here with my family and spent the day on the river. The kids played in the rocks and shallows while I observed and painted this sycamore. The sun was hot the water cool. I felt alive and inspired.

    Ooh, pretty. I love the swirly, rounded brush strokes on this one.
