One of the things I have been noticing while painting in various spots around the city is how different the people are. I usually set up for 2 - 5 hours so I get a good sample of people coming by.  Lower State St in the day has a whole different feel then Upper State. Even though they are right next to each other, Butterfly and Hammond's Beach have two totally separate vibes. If you go out to Ellwood Beach it gets even more different. That place has a way of making people super happy about nature, giving it an almost sacred feel. See you at Hammond's on Saturday - sans paints...
