All the plein air painters in town know this spot at the end of Goleta Beach. Its one of the best places where you can drive up and park right on the beach. Right as I arrived all the clouds retreated and I was painting in full sun light. I thought it was going to be tough to handle the heat. About 20 min after that I was putting my sweatshirt and long pants back on. Right at the end it started pouring huge rain drops as I ducked into the car. The unusual weather continues this year. I think I am going to have plenty of chances to paint the clouds.
