Do you recognize this spot? Yup, the old Wilcox Property, or should I say the Douglas Family Preserve. I am down for the old name but some people don't know it so I always end up having to say both names. For some reason I am disturbed when they change the name of some place or thing. Now everyone growing up there will think it was always named the new name and people will forget the old name - like it never existed. I mean, I wonder what the Indian name was for this spot, they lived for thousands of years here I think their name should be the one we use.
