I care so much about the big shapes in my paintings that sometimes it's hard for my to do certain views. This view was always hard for me to do on little canvases as you just couldn't get the feeling of this big bay of the coast and the towering mountains. With a big'ol canvas like this you really get a sense for the place. Of course I made sure not to put every annoying detail in hoping to create a sense of calm. This one sold but if be happy to make another one if anyone is interested...
