"Butterfly Beach Boardwalk", Montecito, California

"Butterfly Beach Boardwalk"
8 x 24 inches, oil on canvas, $450

This is a little bit different view of one of our favorite beaches. There was no escape from the heat yesterday... except under that lovely cypress tree in the middle of Butterfly Lane. Me and many other locals and tourists spent the afternoon under that tree yesterday. It was probably 75 degrees and wonderful. My house in Noleta was at 101. Needless to say, I had to stay to make a 2nd painting.

Oh, and thats the Biltmore, 4 Seasons entrance on the right. Im in the shade of the Coral Casino on the left. Just beyond the point in the lump of land that is SB, you can see the Cabrillo Bath house and few of the Hotels on Cabrillo Blvd. On the far left you can make out the masts of the harbor. A lot to take in here!
