I made this from memory and from older paintings done a few years back. Things have changed in that time. There are a few more sand dunes and UCSB is landscaping most of what you see in the foreground. Not sure why, it was perfect before they got there. They removed the wind swept tree/bush in the lower right. I guess they didn't know it was the local red tails favorite perches and hunting ground. Who decides these things I wonder?
