What should I paint? I ask myself this question every morning and evening and many times throughout the day. Its not an easy process coming to my subject. I am often restless and have feelings of despair. Usually those feelings come while driving to the place I choose for that day. One of the things I have to remind myself is that true inspiration or innovation can't be planned. You never know when these things will come. The only thing you can do is be as prepared for the amazing moments life and nature will produce for you.
Thank you for sharing this, as well as your thoughts. I have stopped so many things I have enjoyed due to frustration and despair. Thank you for continuing to do what you love. You are an inspiration!
