With faith that the clouds would disappear I started this while in complete fog and clouds. First Miramar Beach appeared and then the mountains beyond. I did this all in one session and everything went really smoothly. I have done this view a few times but never this large. It was a beautiful evening, I got take a swim, finish the painting and then my wife and two children brought dinner which we had on the beach. I couldn't really ask for a better day. I titled it after the two boys playing in the distance giving that nice white reflection as the focal point.
Lovely painting. I can almost feel the wet sand. You are right, this looks like a beautiful area.
