You need to see this piece in person to really get to enjoy the luscious colors. I made this on Tuesday, which was the day the storm hit. I was out at Butterfly Beach painting another one and got misted out. Luckily I had everything packed up before it really started to come down. I drove off to find a place downtown under a store awning or something. I chose this spot mostly because it had a bunch of cover but it also is front of one of the many empty stores. It was a great place to be set up because I was dry and I got to watch everyone negotiate the huge puddles and amazing down pour that ensued. There where a lot of wet puppies walking around, thats for sure.
