This was the result of my painting demonstration the other night. It was cold and windy evening with beautiful clouds and beautiful shadows. I am not sure if you can tell from the image, but I left all the strokes of the under painting in the shadowed areas. For plein air painting that seems to be important if you want to finish before the light is gone.
