Devereux Slough, Goleta

"Devereux Lagoon"
9 x 12 inches
oil on linen
sold

It was a cold clear windy morning out on the lagoon. The view as arrived just after sunset was breathtaking. I think I got a little of that in the piece. There where hundreds of cranes, egrets, ducks various other birds  populating this amazing spot. The sign said I could park there as long as I was viewing nature. I figure that covered me for as long as I was painting... but you never know with UCSB parking services.
