This is the view looking west from part way up Old San Marcos Road. When I made this painting 2 months ago I was in pain from a hernia. I was having trouble concentrating and I ended up frustrated. I thought the painting was a failure. As I sat recovering from my surgery I realized it was my favorite piece in the room.
